Founded in 2011, Chicago Metal Supply and Fabrication, Inc. is an international award-winning, family-owned business, specializing in custom architectural sheet metal fabrication for a broad spectrum of projects. Our expertise spans commercial, residential, historical restoration, and every project in between. Our talented team includes artists, design experts, and technicians who utilize cutting-edge machinery in order to bring you visually stunning and accurate metalwork.

From Chicago’s famous Adams Street Bridge restoration to basic residential downspouts, we have done it all. Whether you are a seasoned contractor, an expert architect, or simply trying to explore what is possible with your personal project, our attentive and experienced team will guide you every step of the way. Our clients represent a wide range of project types, sizes, and difficulty, but share in common the need for a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and imagination. Since we first opened our doors, a passion for preserving and restoring historical and heritage landmark buildings has had a special place in our hearts. Our historical restoration projects exemplify our high-quality metalwork and fabrication craftsmanship. These include the Boston Village Hall, Massachusetts; Heritage Hall Vancouver, British Columbia; Steeple Square in Dubuque, Iowa; the Bangor Public Library in Bangor, Maine; the Maryland State House in Annapolis, Maryland; and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg, Illinois.

As owners and employees of one of the largest architectural sheet metal fabrication shops in the country, we proudly create every item with dedication, precision, and care, “For a timeless look”. 

Our skilled craftsmen, holding more than 150 years in combined experience, fuse together the metalwork and coppersmith techniques of past centuries with today’s state-of-the-art equipment and technological advances. The result is beautiful and durable metal work that breathes life into every project. Our friendly, trilingual staff of salesmen and design experts is always ready to guide you from point-of-sale to final installation. Giving Back

We are creators, artists, and craftsmen. In our line of work, we are blessed everyday. Therefore, at the core of our identities is a special awareness of the need to give back to the community.

Although we may spend our days working with copper, we follow the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” We live by this rule every day in our interactions with clients, suppliers, and those in our community seeking assistance. Empathy, charity, and love of community form an integral of our company’s mission.

To that end, this social consciousness shapes all our outreach efforts: Countless volunteer hours combined with financial and in-kind donations to Chicago-area churches, soup kitchens, food pantries, and schools. We are also dedicated to supporting single-mother housing assistance programs and the battle against childhood cancer through the You Can Be My Angel Foundation.
